Hi everyone, hope you are well and welcome to the Friday Fix. So let me have a little guess. You sit down to post something on your social media or anywhere online and your brain goes completely blank. Or you get too many ideas and then post nothing because it feels really messy or random or just overwhelming. If that is you, there's nothing wrong with you. We all do it, and all we need is a bit of clarity. From what I've learned, I've decided to share with you this quick fix, and it's called the 'Three Topic Rule.' The idea is, instead of trying to post about everything, you choose just three core topics that represent what your business is about – what you care about, or what you know for, or want to be known for. These become your content anchors, the thing that you go back to, so you find it easier to choose. For example, your three topics might be something like mindset, confidence, business strategy, lifestyle, and freedom. These are the topics to go back to and have a look at where you can fit things in. Every single post you share should connect back to one of those. What works is that you gain a knowledge of repetition, and your content is consistent – you're not jumping all over the place. You stay focused, and you also become recognizable from your content. Your audience starts to understand you, and they know why they follow you and what to expect. That also builds trust without you trying too hard. This doesn't mean you're being boring or boxed in; it actually gives you the freedom because you're no longer second-guessing every post. So here's your quick fix: Write down the three topics on a sticky note or a piece of card and post it to a board near where you work. Whenever you plan content, ask yourself, 'What topic does this fit into?' If it doesn't fit into any of them, well actually, it's probably not needed. Clarity really creates confidence, confidence creates consistency, and consistency, that's what makes your business grow. Magic. Reach out if you need us and we can have a conversation.
