Let's talk about how our brain responds to possibility, specifically through one powerful word: "could." So often, we frame our thoughts in terms of "should": "I should be doing more," "I should know how to do this," "I should be further along in my business." And your brain tightens up, feeling resistance. But the word "could" is different. "Could" is softer; it invites curiosity. "Could" doesn't demand; it invites you to dream. When you say "could," your brain is given permission to explore: "I could try this," "I could do it differently," "I could do whatever I want right now." Suddenly, possibilities open up. This is why I actively promote the word "could" within our Dream to Achieve program – because it releases pressure. It comes from imagination, from choice, from giving yourself permission to consider what's possible. "Could" allows you to imagine a business that perfectly fits your life. "Could" lets you explore new ideas about increasing your income or saving time. "Could" helps you step forward without fear of getting it wrong, turning fear into play and overwhelm into options. When your brain hears "could," it stays open, starts asking questions like, "Hmm, what might work?" or "What feels exciting?" or "What would I love to try next?" This is often the starting point for true progress. So, here's a gentle invitation for you today: replace the hard "shoulds" with a soft "could." Instead of "I should know what to do next," try "I could explore one small step next." Instead of "I should be more confident," try "I could practice being kind to myself today." Nothing forced, nothing fixed – just choice. You don't have to decide everything today, or commit forever. Simply allow yourself to use your imagination. Sometimes, the most powerful progress starts with a single word – the word that gives your brain permission to dream. The word "could" allows that to happen; "should" closes things down. Go play with it. "Could" is a positive word because it allows you to dream, to feel, and to realize, "I could do that." Have fun with it.
