One of today's Friday fixes is a reminder that you get to have your business feel like you. Not the watered-down version you think you should be, not the neat, tidy version you think will offer the best for people, but the version that lights you up, the version that actually makes you excited to show up. Most women I work with hit a point where their business feels heavy, confusing, or misaligned, almost always because they've built it around what they think they 'should' offer, not what they actually love. They're trying to fit into a box they don't even want to, quieting the part of them that makes them magnetic—their humor, quirks, strengths, life experiences, and definitely their magic. But here's the truth, guys: you will always attract better, more aligned, easier-to-work-with clients when your business reflects who you really, really are, because your ideal client isn't choosing your business model; they are choosing you, your energy, your vibe, your way of doing things. So today, I want to invite you to pause and check in. Where are you forcing something that doesn't feel like you? Where are you ignoring what actually excites you? What would your business look like if you built it around what you loved instead of what you think is acceptable? This is where your ease, joy, and confidence come from; this is the version of what makes people say, 'yes, I want to work with her.' So, this is a little quick fix. I'd love you to grab a piece of paper, a nice pen, and write two lists. First, 'What I love doing in my business and what gives me energy and what feels natural, what feels fun.' Second, 'What I'm tolerating because I feel I should'—know the tasks, the offers, the platforms, the routines, anything that feels heavy or forced. And then circle one thing that you love and commit to doing more of that one thing this week. Go on, pop a star next to that thing. And then, circle the one thing that you're tolerating and decide how you really could reduce, tweak, or remove it. Tiny shifts make huge alignments. Remembering in your list, it could be part of your business, but remember to write down the things that you love doing outside of your business. You know, is it walking? Is it having pets? Is it gardening? Is it, I don't know, going for coffee and cake? Those things can be part of your business because they make you smile. And remembering that your business is an extension of you. And if you're happy in your business, then attracting clients that are wanting to emulate you and be, have them, their business be happy and smiley, is the most amazing gift that you can give.
